Fighting Ovarian Cancer Through Patient Support and Education

Every year, 22,000 women are newly diagnosed with ovarian cancer. As OCRFA strives toward a cure and better treatments through research, we also provide patients and survivors with the care they need through our support and education programs.

Now in 29 sites across the country, our Woman to Woman program has impacted over 400 women, from newly diagnosed patients to survivor-mentors; it connects and supports hundreds of women through any and every phase of gynecologic cancer.

Through the Survivors Teaching Students® program, 817 survivors volunteered and made over 480 presentations in 259 schools reaching over 11,100 medical students, nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

Your gift enables us to continue supporting women every step of the way, and to make sure tomorrow’s healthcare professionals hear their stories. Give today to help keep these essential programs thriving in 2017.
