Your financial support helps provide innovative programing and resources to the women whose lives have been affected by ovarian cancer.
If you or someone you know has been touched by ovarian cancer, you can honor or remember them by raising support and sharing her story with your friends and family through our Wall of Hope.
Runs, walks, dinners online parties and dances—these are just some of the ways our dedicated supporters throughout the country are raising awareness and helping fund the science to beat ovarian cancer through Team Hope. Or how about organizing an indoor cycling event through Ovarian Cycle?
Many employers will match personal gifts made by their employees. By contacting your Human Resources department, you could double or triple your donation and your impact! Ask your HR department whether your employer has a matching gift program. Provide them with information about your gift and your donation can be multiplied. Matching gifts can be sent to:
14 Pennsylvania Plaza
New York, NY 10122
Federal, state and local government employees can support Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance through payroll deductions as part of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). OCRFA’s CFC number is 11154.
In addition to making a gift via credit card or check, you can also make a stock or IRA donation. Contact your financial advisor to authorize the donation to support Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance. Please ask your advisor to contact OCRFA with your name, the stock name and number of shares so we may recognize your gift. Learn more about giving from your IRA. Contact Jon Zeidman at firstname.lastname@example.org or 212-268-1002 with any questions.
Create a lasting legacy by making a charitable bequest to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance in your will. This gift will support the important future work of OCRFA. An outright bequest to OCRFA is fully tax-deductible for estate-tax purposes.
Since we cannot predict future medical advances, we recommend that your bequest be for unrestricted purposes or be directed generally to research.
We’ve suggested language you may find useful in writing your will:
“I give, devise and bequeath [the sum of ____ dollars], [all or ____ percent of the rest, remainder and residue of my estate of every kind and description (including lapsed legacies and devises)] to The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance, Inc. 14 Pennsylvania Plaza, Suite 1710, New York, New York, 10122, EIN 13-3806788 for its general purposes.”
Talk to your lawyer and financial advisor for further information. We are incredibly grateful for your support!
Please contact Contact Jon Zeidman at email@example.com or 212-268-1002 to notify us of your plans or for further information.
OCRFA Partners in Science Program enables donors to select and sponsor OCRFA-funded scientists based on criteria such as geographic location, specific institution, or area of study. Sponsored researchers are selected by the donor after members of the OCRFA Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) have conducted a peer-review of all the submitted applications and have recommend the top grants for funding to the Board of Directors, who in turn vote on the grants for final approval.
