C.A.R.E.
C.A.R.E., Cancer Advocacy Resources Education, Inc. evolved from a desire to support women and their families as they learn to cope with the devastating news of a cancer diagnosis. Prior to the formation of C.A.R.E., a group of health care professionals, survivors and community members supported and participated in the Sister Run® for seventeen years. The Run was created and organized in memory of a beloved sister to raise awareness of ovarian cancer. In 2013, many of the same dedicated volunteers formed C.A.R.E., a not-for-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status to expand the focus to all gynecologic cancers. We are committed to supporting women and families living with gynecologic cancers and educating all women, particularly, those most vulnerable.
